Food Assistance
Starting March 23: Bristol Tennessee City Schools will provide free breakfast & lunch to any student during weekdays. Child must be present and meals will be distributed using a drive-thru or walk-up process; cafeteria seating will not be available. Local utilities:
Bristol Tennessee Essential Services is suspending disconnections through March 29 and is evaluating this policy on a week by week basis. The lobby is currently closed, but payments can be delivered by drive-thru M-F, 8:30 am - 5 pm.

Safety & Support
Sullivan County Mayor Venable declared that the county will follow a safer at home policy for seven days, beginning March 31. Safer at home means that people should stay at home as much as possible, leaving only for essential activities such as grocery shopping, seeking medical care, and working as necessary

Transportation
MyRide Kingsport is a new program that provides through the door transportation for residents 60 or more years of age anywhere in Kingsport, TN. There is a minimal fee per ride and all MyRide drivers are volunteers. For more information about the program and/or to volunteer, call Lisa Christian at (423) 530-6340
Childcare
East Tennessee COVID Sitters is a group of local healthcare professional students providing free childcare and pet sitting to healthcare workers in the Tri-Cities area during COVID-19. If you are a healthcare worker who needs assistance, please fill out a request form. If you are a healthcare professional student who wants to volunteer to help, please fill out this form.
