Food

  • Hancock County Schools will not be providing meals to students during spring break, March 23-27. However, after spring break and until school is in session, children 18 years old and younger will be provided lunch and a snack, regardless of their enrollment status. Meal pick-ups will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm daily. In order for children to receive meals, please complete the registration form here

  • Local Utilities:

    • Powell Valley Gas Utility has not developed a policy related to an inability to pay for services due to the coronavirus. For policy updates please visit their website or call (865) 426-2822

    • Sneedville Utility District has closed their lobby but are accepting payments via drop-off. If you are concerned about making your utilities payments due to coronavirus, please contact them at (423) 733-4382

  • National Utilities:

Safety & Support

Transportation

  • East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (ETHRA) will schedule transportation services for those without their own means of transportation. People can use this service to obtain groceries, go to work, seek medical attention, or other pressing needs. Fees are $3.00 one way.
