Food
Children 18 years and younger will be able to receive meals M-F and Hawkins County Schools from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Children must be present to receive lunch & breakfast. For any questions, please contact the Child Nutrition Office at 272-2128. Meals should be consumed off-site. Meals will be provided at the following locations:
Bulls Gap School, 315 Allen Dr
Church Hill Elementary School, 400 Old Stage Rd
Clinch School, 1540 Clinch Valley Rd.
Hawkins Elementary, 1121 E. Main St.
Mooresburg Elementary, 305 Highway 31
Surgoinsville Elementary, 1010 Main St.

Shepherd’s Center Food Pantry, 306 East Main St., Rogersville is open from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Tuesdays
from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Must be a resident of Surgoinsville, Rogersville, St. Claire, Bulls Gap, Mooresburg, Eidson and surrounding
neighborhoods within Hawkins CountyAppalachia: Mission Pawsible is providing two weeks of pet food to those impacted by COVID-19 on a case-by-case basis. To get more information, visit their website here or call (423) 398-3380

Safety & Support
Hawkins County Mayor Jim Lee issued a seven day safer at home order on March 30. People should stay at home except to conduct essential activities such as grocery shopping, seeking medical care, and working as necessary. Patients must be pre-screened and pre-registered to receive coronavirus testing, and only those with the most severe symptoms will be able to get tested. Those who are concerned they may have symptoms should call the Northeast Coronavirus Information Hotline at (423) 979-4689 M-F, 8 am - 6 pm. Coronavirus testing is available at:

Transportation
East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (ETHRA) will schedule transportation services for those without their own means of transportation. People can use this service to obtain groceries, go to work, seek medical attention, or other pressing needs. Fees are $3.00 one way.
