I will support initiatives to keep our independent farmers competitive and profitable. Legislation must support small farms and ensure that agricultural subsidies and tax laws don’t undermine their economic viability. We must also ensure sufficient storage to preserve crops, provide high speed broadband internet to rural areas and build infrastructure so our agricultural centers can safely transport their goods across the country.
