Congressional Candidate Blair Walsingham (D-TN District 1) has long advocated for a Freedom Dividend for all American Citizens. This is not a new concept and it has been implemented in many areas in different ways. Read more about how this would work here.

Blair believes so strongly that this policy would be beneficial to the First District, that she’s putting the concept to proof, organizing a small scale test of the Freedom Dividend, dubbed the TN Freedom Grant. The Freedom Grant will supply two residents of Tennessee’s First District with $500 per month for 1 year, beginning in September of 2020.
