Blair is a Hawkins County resident, wife, mother of 4 children, and US Air Force veteran. Her signature proposal is based upon the principles proven with Dolly Parton’s “My People Fund,” which provided an unconditional income for 6 months to victims of the Gatlinburg fires, allowing them to rebuild their homes and their lives. She recognizes that the lack of economic security, especially in rural communities is a key driver of many of the challenges we face today including poverty, sub-par education, health care access, drug abuse, climate change denial, and gun violence.

Ian Ratner
Campaign Manager
Ian was previously Tennessee State Organizer for Andrew Yang's 2020 Presidential campaign. He moved to East Tennessee over 10 years ago with his wife and three children.
Laura Del Savio
Deputy Campaign Manager & Communications Director
Laura was a member of the Email Response Team at Yang 2020, and later with Humanity Forward. A high school French teacher, Laura views language as a creative tool through which we have the opportunity to craft messaging with authenticity and integrity. Her interest in politics and respect for those who step up to accept the challenge of public service motivated her to come on board to work for Blair.
Greg Edwards
Technology Manager
Greg lives in Knoxville with his wife and four children. An avid proponent of equality and fairness for all, he supports the campaign by coordinating tools and technology.
Jamie Smelley
Political and Field Director
Jamie recently relocated to Tennessee with her husband. She has a background in state government focusing on policy analysis and implementation. She is a passionate advocate for economic equality, which is why she supports the Blair for Congress Campaign as the Field Director, helping to spread Blair’s message.
Marcos Hernandez
Assistant Treasurer
Marcos was born and raised in Houston, Texas where he currently resides. He has seven years of professional operations and client management expertise and has a wealth of community and student organizing experience. Most recently, Marcos helped organize the Houston area in support of Andrew Yang's run for the Democratic nomination in 2020 and assisted Yang delegates in successfully adding ranked-choice voting to the Texas Democratic Platform.
Rebekah McGrady
Advertising & Social Media Directer
Rebekah McGrady of Bristol, TN is an Art Ninja who chairs the Communications Committee of her church and volunteers with local community theatre. When she isn’t working or crafting, she watches documentaries, reads books, and plays more board games than you have probably even heard of. Her belief that non-partisan politics are the best way forward for our country led her to support and then work with Blair’s campaign.
